Selling for Success will cover the psychology of sales, increasing client engagement, enabling customer buy in, closing the sale and a lot more. Jeff will teach solid approaches to help you get over many of the mental roadblocks we as portrait artists put in our own way that can have detrimental effects on sales and profitability. |
Saturday March 20th 2021 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm Ella Putney Carlson "Let’s Talk about Compositing" Join five time Diamond Photographer of the Year and GIA Award winner Ella Carlson for this talk about compositing techniques. She’ll talk about the various aspects of bringing multiple images together successfully, including how to choose your elements and what to avoid, selections, lighting considerations, composition and color considerations, creating shadows, avoiding the “cut out” feeling, and using color look-up tables. This talk will have something for all Photoshop skill levels. |

Sarah will share many examples, plus a few in-depth case studies, of intimate landscapes, abstract renditions of natural subjects, and portraits of plants and trees to inspire you to seek out small scenes next time you are outside with your camera. |

Sunday March 21st 2021 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Thom Rouse "Art & Photoshop" Photoshop as an artistic medium requires a different approach than Photoshop as a workflow tool. In this program we’ll spend a few hours demonstrating and talking about Photoshop as an artistic medium. Thom will demonstrate a number of his most often used methods for creating in Photoshop and how we can use a mash up of techniques to achieve unique results and bring our visualizations to the screen. The state of the art in digital image making is limited only by our imagination and willingness to experiment. |
