More than ever, there's a lot to learn and know about the process of beginning to use a drone in your photography business.  In addition to being a certified FAA UAS (drone) pilot, Russell Caron is a Master Photographer, Master Wedding Photographer, Craftsman Photographer, Certified Professional Photographer, and Certified Drone Photographer with the PPA. He and wife Liz began incorporating drone photography into their wedding work in 2017 and it's paid off big time. But it's now 2023 and while some things about drone photography, drone equipment, certification, and rules have become easier, there are several areas that are more complex than ever.  And these things are not optional to know.

An adaptation of an Imaging USA class Russ taught 2 year ago, this day-long workshop will start at the very beginning and then progress through all the things you'll need to learn to see if drone photography makes sense (or not) for your photo business.  Not designed to teach you everything in one day (there's simply too much to digest) this workshop will however teach you all things that you will need to further delve into, study, and prepare for your FAA certification exam.  There's a rule: if you WANT your certification, you WILL get it, almost 100% certainly the first try, just by knowing what you need to know and applying basic study skills.

If you're interested in drones and drone photography, this workshop will be worth its weight in knowledge for you.

In 2017 after certification, Russ and Liz incorporated (with huge success!) unique wedding day artistry using their drone, while finding the right ways to do this safely = and legally.  Their drone has also afforded many other work opportunities, and know how appealing adding drone work may be to other photographers. However, six years later the FAA is changing the game on the rules and the gear, so this is a great time to delve in and see if adding drone photography is still a good idea or not for your photography business. - and if it's offered as an add-on to what is usually photographed or taken on as an entity in and of itself.

Attendees will receive 1 PPA merit!
