ABOUT LEAH
Leah Haraden, a member of MPPA, is a highly skilled professional photographer and instructor from Portland, Maine. Her interest in photography began early, deeply rooted in her family. Her father, an enthusiast, taught her to use his Polaroid camera at age four, sparking a lifelong passion. Even though she had other interests, such as music and art, she never entirely put her camera down. After the birth of her two sons, Leah's love of photographing her family and friends bloomed into an interest in portrait photography and, eventually, became a fine art wedding photographer. Leah enjoys many other areas of photography, including landscape and nature photography. She has taught photography for twelve years through various adult education programs, private workshops, and classes. What sets Leah apart is her unwavering commitment to skill development. Despite all her experience and formal training, she constantly works to keep her skills updated as technology changes. She enjoys sharing that knowledge and passion with her students; her classes are as fun and lively as they are informative.
